Chicken Al Faham | Al Faham Arabic Grilled Chicken Recipe

Chicken Al Faham, also known as Arabian grilled chicken, is a popular Middle Eastern dish characterized by its smoky and flavorful grilled chicken. Ingredients

  • Chicken - 1 kg (cut into 4 and mark slit)
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Green Chilli - 4
  • Tomato - 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 2 tbsp
  • Pepper Powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Fennel Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Cumin Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Whole Dry Chilli - 2 tbsp
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Mint Leaves - few
  • Coriander Leaves - few
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Lemon Juice - 1/4 cup
  • Salt
  • Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Butter - 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Take a blender, add all the ingredients except butter and chicken and blend to a coarse paste.
  2. Marinate the masala paste on the chicken well and keep refrigerated for 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  3. Heat butter on a grilling pan, and grill the chicken on both sides until a char effect comes. Serve hot with mint chutney.
  4. If you want to bake in oven, then preheat oven at 220degree for 10 min, and place the chicken on a greased pan, brush with butter and bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve alfaham with your choice of chutney.
