I season the shrimp with a variety of spices and coat them in a mixture of flour and breadcrumbs to create a crunchy, flavorful crust. Ingredients

  • Shrimps - 300g
  • Oil - to fry

TO MARINATE:-

  • Red Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice - 3 tbsp
  • Soy Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Mixed Dry Herbs - 1 tsp
  • Salt

TO COAT:-

  • All Purpose Flour - 1/2 cup
  • Corn Flour - 3 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Cold Water

Instructions

  1. Marinate the shrimps with the ingredients mentioned under "To Marinate". Keep it refrigerated overnight or minimum of 4 hours.
  2. To prepare the coating, mix all the ingredients mentioned under "To Coat" in a bowl except for cold water.
  3. Coat each shrimp in the coating mix and dip it in the ice cold water and immediately coat it again in the coating mix.
  4. Deep fry the shrimps until crisp and golden.
