BBQ Chicken Pizza

BBQ Chicken Pizza is a delicious easy recipe with a thin crust (crust thickness depends on your interest). With the flavorful bbq sauce, topped with yummy chicken, olives, capsicum etc, finally covered with a good amount of cheese and then baked till the cheese is melted.

Ingredients

FOR PIZZA BASE:-

  • All Purpose Flour - 2 1/2 cups
  • Salt
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Yeast - 1 1/4 tsp
  • Luke Warm Water - 1 1/2 cups

FOR TOPPINGS:-

  • BBQ Sauce
  • Capsicum - 1 cup (chopped)
  • Onion - 1 cup (chopped)
  • Black Olives - 1 cup (sliced)
  • Cooked Chicken - 250gms (chopped)
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Oregano

Instructions

  1. To the luke warm water, add sugar and yeast, mix until it dissolves well. Close and keep for 15 minutes for the yeast to activate.
  2. Next mix flour and salt together. Add yeast mixture and knead well to sticky dough. Cover and keep for 2 hrs for the dough to ferment. Fermentation time depends on the room temperature.
  3. Once dough is fermented and doubled in size, add some more flour and knead to a soft dough. Divide the dough to equal balls and tuck it.
  4. Dust flour on to a flat surface and roll it to a semi thick base. The base thickness depends on your liking.
  5. Grease a pizza tray, place the pizza base and spread with your hands till it covers the edges of the tray. Prick with a fork on the base.
  6. Spread enough bbq sauce, arrange your toppings, cover it with enough cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes or till the base is cooked through and the cheese melts to a golden color.
